Radon gas can break down into tiny radioactive elements (radon progeny) that can lodge in the lining of your lungs giving off radiation. This radiation can damage lung cells and eventually lead to lung cancer. If you have higher then normal levels of Radon in your home, Radon mitigation systems can be installed to keep you and your family safe.
